Molepolole man dies in head-on collision

The accident, which claimed the life of the 39-year-old, occurred at around 4pm. It is reported that the two vehicles collided after one of them allegedly veered into the opposite lane. Southern Division Traffic Officer, Assistant Commissioner Boiki Mojalemotho, explained that the deceased was certified dead upon arrival at Scottish Livingstone Hospital. “We do not know what caused the head-on collision, but we suspect that one of the drivers might have lost control of the vehicle, resulting in the collision,” Mojalemotho said of on the fatal accident. According to the police, the truck was driven by a 30-year-old man from Molepolole, who escaped with minor injuries. Following the crash, an investigation has been launched to unravel circumstances surrounding the accident, including what may have caused one of the vehicles to cross into the other lane.
