Blooming Queens returns with healing, renewal

Running from 10am to 5pm, the gathering continues the series’ focus on healing, while this year’s theme explores how personal pain, trauma and life’s setbacks can become part of a journey towards renewal.
Refilwe “Fifi” Dibeela, a member of the organising team, explained that the theme reflects the central message behind Blooming Queens: that brokenness does not have to mean the end of one’s story.
“The cracks represent personal traumas, emotional wounds and systemic failures,” she said, adding that the aim is for women to leave with a different perspective on the things that have wounded them.
Although Blooming Queens returns with the same host, core message and venue, Dibeela said this year’s approach to healing offer a different experience.
Cindy Andrews returns as host, while Dibeela will serve as MC. The speaker lineup includes Kgalalelo Ramogapi, Nana Kgosidialwa, Kagiso Sekati, Letlhogonolo Motswaledi, Tebogo Kenabatho and Triciahlossis Ruzvidzo.
Dibeela said the speakers were selected through what the organisers describe as the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. While some will teach, others will share personal stories of healing, with their experiences intended to provide relatable perspectives and hope.
One of the key features will be the Heart to Heart sessions, where attendees will break into smaller groups and engage with speakers whose experiences resonate most closely with their own. The format is designed to create a more intimate space for conversation and reflection than a conventional stage programme.
Faith and God’s love remain central to the event, reflecting Blooming Queens’ broader focus on spiritual and emotional restoration. Dibeela said first-time attendees can expect an environment centred on honest conversations, fellowship and different dimensions of healing.
Tickets are priced at P550 for a single entry and P1 000 for two people. The package includes a three-course lunch, panel discussions, Heart to Heart sessions, networking, live entertainment and access to a professional photography and video-booth experience. The dress code is an aquamarine aesthetic.
Payment can be made through Orange Money or Pay2Cell, with proof of payment required to confirm bookings. Seats are limited.
For Dibeela, however, the measure of the event’s success will not be the number of people in attendance, but the impact it has on those who come.
“If even one woman leaves with her soul, spirit, mind or body healed, then we have achieved our purpose,” she said. She also hopes the relationships formed during the luncheon will extend beyond the event itself, developing into lasting fellowship and connections through which women can discover purpose and support one another.
Now in its fourth edition, Blooming Queens continues to create a space where women can confront difficult experiences, share openly and explore healing through faith, conversation and community.
