The local artist explained to Arts&Culture that He Vuelto means “I have returned” in English, highlighting that the EP is more than a comeback project for him. MaTucha says it is a reflection of his experiences, growth and the different sides of his personality, while also serving as a statement of intent about the kind of artist he wants to be. The EP opens with 'Chest Pains', featuring one of Amanandos member JDe Superstar and South Africa’s Pringle Major. The track explores the pressure that comes with pursuing success, particularly dealing with people who may not necessarily want to see one win. On ‘Mjolo’, MaTucha brings in YAMA award winner KX Legit, alongside Teddy Trill from Botswana and Namibia’s DJ Cartel.

The song explores relationships and the realities of toxic love, adding another emotional dimension to the project. The third track, ‘Ngibuyile (He Vuelto)’, featuring Sbuxo, reinforces the central theme of the EP, MaTucha’s return. It acts as a musical declaration that he is back and ready to continue his journey. The EP closes with ‘Chika’, featuring Congolese artist, Dr Sticky and Botswana’s Edith Segokgo, who is also recognised for her achievement as Miss World Botswana Top Model. The song presents MaTucha’s more carefree and celebratory side. He stated that the defining feature about the EP is its emphasis on collaboration. “Every track on the EP has a collaborative element because I genuinely believe music becomes more powerful when different artists, sounds and perspectives come together,” MaTucha stated.

For MaTucha, collaboration goes beyond simply featuring another artist in a song. He sees it as an opportunity for each creative to bring their own identity, perspective and value to the music while contributing to a stronger creative community. 'With artists from Botswana, South Africa, Namibia and Congo represented on the project, He Vuelto becomes a small but deliberate demonstration of that philosophy,' the artist added. He stated that the project is also an invitation for listeners to look beyond the music and discover the experiences, relationships, pressure, growth and ambition that have shaped him.
