The event was scheduled for September 12 at the Royal Aria Stadium.
In a statement, Seagile said his health has deteriorated to a point where he is currently struggling to walk properly, forcing him to suspend all entertainment-related activities.
He said the decision to postpone the show was difficult, particularly because the project is one he has been passionate about. However, he said his immediate priority is to concentrate on treatment, regain his strength and return to good health.
“The One Woman Show is not cancelled; it is simply on hold while I focus on getting well,” he said.
PP expressed gratitude to colleagues in the entertainment industry, artists, business partners, friends and members of the public who have supported the project and believed in its vision. He also appealed for prayers, encouragement and assistance from those who may be able to support him during the difficult period. According to PP, his immediate need is to access medication and other support required for her recovery.
For years, PP has been involved in promoting Botswana’s entertainment industry, supporting local artists and creating opportunities for creatives. He said the current situation has compelled him to seek the same spirit of support he has extended to others throughout his career.
“I sincerely appreciate every message, prayer, call and gesture of support,” he said.
PP maintained that the decision to put his entertainment activities on hold is temporary and that he hopes to return once his health improves.
