An established mechanical,electrical and construction company based in Gaborone is

inviting suitable, qualified and experienced candidates to the following position

JOB TITLE: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & PROJECTS MANAGERX 1

Job Duties and Tasks

Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and

directing the integration of technical activities.

Analyse technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the

feasibility of projects.

Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities

and equipment.

Direct, review, and approve product design and changes in solar system,electrical and

mechanical

Recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the

development and maintenance of staff competence.

Prepare budgets, bids, and contracts, and direct the negotiation of research contracts.

Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving

expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials

or services.

Set scientific and technical goals within broad outlines provided by top management.

Direct the engineering of solar systems, mechanical and electrical distribution projects.

Plan, direct, and coordinate site visits with other staff activities, certifying the site, and

proposal writing.

Qualifications

Preferably Degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering.

Registered with ERB.

Certificate in Project Management.

8+ years working experience in electrical/mechanical/construction industries.

Competencies

Demonstrate strength in solar system designing, HVAC and other mechanical systems.

Exposed to Executive Management.

Experience in EPC+F projects and contract management

Experience in design, installation, testing,commissioning and maintenance of server

rooms/data centre cooling systems
