“Recognising the growing need for emotional and psychological support in communities, the college has opened its counselling services to individuals facing various life challenges, including stress, anxiety, grief, family conflicts, relationship issues, substance abuse, unemployment-related challenges and other personal concerns,” the college indicated in a statement this week.

According to Bosa Bosele, the initiative forms part of the college’s commitment to community engagement and social responsibility while providing a platform for professional support and guidance in need.

Bosa Bosele said it believes that no one should have to face life’s challenges alone. “Through this service, we aim to provide a safe, supportive and confidential environment where individuals can receive the help they need. The counselling service is available on an ongoing basis and is open to all members of the public,” the college highlighted.

Bosa Bosele is among the few institutions in Botswana, alongside the University of Botswana, offering programmes in Social Work.
