The former league champions have lost their number one goalkeeper, Goitseone Phoko, to Siwelele, with the South African side confirming his signing this week. Forward Neo Mokhachane is reportedly attracting interest from the South African side as well.
However, Galaxy public relations officer Tankiso Morake declined to comment on the reports.
'I am unable to comment on speculation currently circulating on social media; however, the club will issue an official statement regarding player transfers upon the opening of the transfer window,' Morake said.
The rumours come at a time when Galaxy are expected to make significant moves as they seek to rebuild following a season that fell short of expectations.
Amongst the names dominating discussions is that of Letsholonyane, whose coaching stock has risen considerably after an impressive stint with Matebele FC.
The former Bafana Bafana midfielder guided Kuka Ntsu to a respectable mid-table finish despite working with one of the youngest squads in the FNB Premiership.
Having inherited a side tipped by many to struggle, Letsholonyane steadied the ship after a difficult start and transformed Matebele into a competitive unit capable of troubling more established clubs.
His work earned him a nomination for the Botswana Premiership Coach of the Season award, underlining the impact he made in his first full season in charge.
His ability to develop young players and build a competitive team on a limited budget has made him one of the most sought-after young coaches in the region.
Galaxy are expected to keep Seemo '16' Mpatane if 'Yeye' is to replace Dimitar Pantev, who left at the end of the season. At the same time, speculation surrounding Phoko and Mokhachane continues to grow.
The duo played important roles for Galaxy last season, and reports linking them with a move to Siwelele FC have raised questions about the club's plans for the upcoming campaign.
Should the pair depart, Galaxy could be forced to enter the market in search of suitable replacements whilst also strengthening other areas of the squad.
With the transfer window yet to officially open, Galaxy supporters are left waiting for clarity as rumours continue to circulate about both arrivals and departures.
Gaborone United (GU) goalkeeping prospect, Frank Seleka, has reportedly signed with the mining side, whilst BDF XI youthful forward Boikobo Rannyena is also reported to have joined the Jwaneng-based side. For now, the club is keeping its cards close to its chest, but with Letsholonyane's name in the spotlight and uncertainty surrounding some of Galaxy's key players, the coming weeks could prove pivotal in shaping the club's fortunes for the 2026-2027 season.
