Prosecution and defence have both indicated that they are yet to comply with pre-trial requirements as per Order 68. Sepopa stands accused of fatally shooting his wife Bogolo Sepopa alongside his junior Same Moapare back in July 2023.

Appearing before the High Court today, State prosecutor Gopolang Tlhabologang indicated that the parties are yet to meet before Judge Matlhogonolo Phuthego.

“This matter is slated for the roll. The parties hves not yet complied with order 68. The defence and I agreed we shall comply with Order 68,” he said. Prosecutor Tlhabologang indicated that once the parties have complied with the order they would move to proceed with CMC and set trial dates for the matter.

The State prosecutor was complemented by defence attorney Thapelo Mphala who revealed that indeed the parties are yet to meet and map a way forward. “I do confirm that and may we have a date for CMC,” Mphala said.

Taking the two sides into consideration, Judge Phuthego adjourned the matter to November. “The matter will be set for November 9, 2026 and the accused shall remain out on bail until then,” he ordered. The case continues.
