Managing Director Botswana Application

DSV Botswana (Pty) Ltd, part of DSV Air & Sea,,a leading global transport and logistics

group, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the

position of Managing Director.

The Managing Director will be responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction,

governance, operational performance and sustainable growth of the Botswana

business. The role requires a senior business leader with strong commercial acumen,

financial management capability, logistics industry experience, and the ability to lead

teams, manage stakeholders and drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership and execution of business plans

• Financial and operational management, including P&L accountability

• Business development and revenue growth

• Customer and stakeholder relationship management

• Regulatory compliance and corporate governance

• People leadership, talent development and organisational culture

• Implementation of regional and global DSV initiatives

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain

• Management,,Finance or related field

• Postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) will be advantageous

• Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain

or transport industry

• Proven experience in senior management or executive leadership roles

• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills

• Sound commercial and financial acumen

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
