According to the police, about seven men armed with offensive weapons gained entry into the company's premises at around 3 am after cutting through the electric fence surrounding the property.
The suspects reportedly attacked a security officer and the company's Human Resources Manager, forcing them to open the offices. The gang then assaulted the two employees before making off with cash amounting to P2,000, two laptops, and three cellular phones.
Mogoditshane Station acting commander, Superintendent Mompoloki Ramaphoi, told The Monitor that the victims were assaulted, but did not sustain any serious injuries during the ordeal.
Ramaphoi said investigations are ongoing and police are working around the clock to identify and locate the suspects, who remain at large.
He appealed to members of the public with any leads that can assist with their investigation to report to the nearest police station.
