The hotel, which is managed by Sky Clouds (Pty) Ltd, recently advertised a number of job opportunities as part of preparations for its official launch. The facility has been undergoing extensive renovations.

As per a statement by the hotel, it highlighted that only management positions would require prior experience, while the majority of advertised posts would be open to applicants regardless of their work history.

“This is a deliberate effort to give a fair chance to those who have never worked before. Many young people are locked out of the job market because employers demand experience, yet they can only gain that experience through employment,” the statement read.

The statement added that the hotel would also introduce trainee positions designed to equip successful applicants with practical skills before assuming their roles.

“We will be having positions that are trainee positions where we employ people, teach them the job and then they assume the position,” read the statement. The hotel is expected to employ about 100 staff members during its initial phase of operations. Meanwhile, the facility has undergone a multimillion pula facelift, including complete electrical rewiring, structural restoration, roof repairs, waterproofing, replacement of air-conditioning systems, solar installations and water-heating systems. While the hotel is yet to officially open to the public, its state-of-the-art conference facilities are already operational and available for bookings.
