The second leg of the Premier League play-off delivered a spectacle between Enesia FC and Dinare on Sunday afternoon

Dinare FC carried a 4-2 lead to the Ghetto with the hope of successfully protecting it but Enesia FC had other ideas, with a strong second half showing to win 3-0 and advanced on 5-4 aggregate score.

In the first leg, the team showed that they were not an easy customer and took a 2-0 lead before Dinare delivered an emphatic 4-2 win comeback.

Ahead of the second leg showing, both camps had promised an entertaining return match, with Enesia looking for goals to overturn the deficit.

Dinare on the other hand needed to manage the game but the hosts prevailed on the day, a heartbreak for Dinare players who also failed to beat Prisons XI for the automatic promotion spot.

For Dinare, next season will be another one to try and join the elite league. Enesia’s promotion on the other hand is a relief for Francistown residents following the relegation of Calendar Stars to the lower division.

They join TAFIC as representatives of the city of Francistown and surrounding areas.
