Liquid Intelligent Technologies expands services in Botswana

The move coincides with the company’s celebration of a decade of operations in the country.

At the centre of the new offering is Secure360, an integrated cyber security framework designed to help organisations transition from reactive responses to cyber threats towards proactive protection, intelligence, and assurance. The solution combines local service delivery with continental-scale infrastructure and global technology partnerships to provide enterprise-grade cloud and digital security capabilities.

Speaking on the development, LIT Botswana Managing Director, Odirile Tamajobe, said the company has spent the past decade strengthening Botswana’s digital infrastructure.

He revealed that Liquid has deployed more than 1,174 kilometres of fibre connectivity across the country, including a 730-kilometre backbone network along the A1 road. According to Tamajobe, the investment has positioned Botswana as a strategic regional connectivity hub linking networks from Zimbabwe, South Africa, Kenya, Zambia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Sudan.

He added that the introduction of cloud and cyber security services will empower local businesses with world-class digital tools, enabling them to compete more effectively on the global stage.

“Now, by bringing the cloud and cyber security services into the country, we are empowering local businesses with world-class digital solutions, ensuring they can compete and win on the global stage.'

The expansion aligns with Cassava Technologies’ broader “One Cassava” strategy, which seeks to deliver integrated digital infrastructure and technology platforms across Africa.

Ziaad Suleman said customers in Botswana will now have access not only to cloud and cyber security services, but also to data centres, AI readiness reviews, and customised technology roadmaps through a unified digital platform.

Suleman noted that the initiative is designed to support secure innovation while helping organisations build long-term digital resilience.
