The club did not take that lightly and acted swiftly by issuing suspension letters to the five players; Mangolo, namely Monty Enosa, Shanganani Ngada, Laone Petros and Brian Tafhi.

Heading into the clash against Enesia over the weekend, Chiefs reinstated some of the suspended players. The notable exclusion from the returnees to the first team was Mangolo who is still out in the cold.

Mochudi Centre Chiefs assistant coach, Sekhana Koko, stated said the players that were brought back into the team were consistently showing up in training despite the suspensions.

“We were informed that the four were ready to come back. Mind you they have been training but the alleged player (Mangolo) was not,” Koko revealed in an interview with Sport Monitor.

“They were coming to training and our fitness coach was monitoring them and training them.”

On whether Mangolo has a future with Magosi, Koko said he is not entirely sure that the player will continue with the club as they leave everything to the administrators.

“When it gets to indiscipline, it is more with the office than us the technical. What happens is we just give a report to the office and they start the disciplinary procedures so we are still waiting to hear from them,” he added.

However what Koko said further casts doubt on Mangolo’s future as the assistant coach revealed that there are unresolved disputes between the club and the player.

“The other alleged player (Mangolo) has not been training. He hasn’t been training at all. “So I think it is an issue that transpired between him and the office during the process of disciplinary action and I cannot say much until we are informed on that,” he said.

Koko added developments will be revealed by club through their platforms if there are any decisions undertaken by management regarding the issue.

Over the weekend, Magosi hammered Enesia 4-0 to secure a spot in the last eight stage of the Orange FA Cup.

Three goals were scored in the first half while the final goal came in the second half. Magosi have since been pitted against Black Lions in the quarterfinals.

The dates and times will be confirmed in due course.
