– Technical Support and Inventory Coordinator

Core Description

The purpose of this role is to provide technical support to IT technicians and oversee the inventory management processes at Ultimate Solutions, ensuring alignment with BCX Group standards.

Key Deliverables / Primary Functions

• Offer guidance to IT technicians regarding technical support matters.

• Perform electronics repairs on Point-of-Sale equipment, including but not limited to RF scanners, barcode readers, flatbed scanners, PDAs, various types of printers, plotters, CPUs, monitors, power supply units, and related devices.

• Develop software images for distribution to technicians.

• Manage the installation, diagnostics, and repair of systems and applications.

• Supervise personnel involved in inventory processes and ensure adherence to established procedures.

• Coordinate projects to ensure timely and effective completion.

• Prepare and visualize reports to support informed decision-making.

• Proficiency in electronics repairs down to the component level.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology

• Recognized certification or diploma in electronics repairs, such as City and Guilds, or Class 1 Journeyman status.

• Diploma in Purchasing and Supply would be advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum of ten years’ experience in IT and inventory management.

Special Requirements/ Employment Condition

• Possession of a valid Class B driver’s license.

• Willingness to work overtime and be available for shifts on two weekends per month.
