The young queen's victory is a testament to her hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment to empowering others. Speaking about her win, Ofentse said, 'I had mixed emotions when I was announced as one of the representatives for Botswana. The competition was tough, and I was preparing myself for another contestant to be called'. However, her doubts were quickly erased as she took the stage and delivered a breathtaking violin performance, showcasing her talent and promoting African unity.

Ofentse's journey to the top was not without challenges. She faced numerous obstacles, including lack of sponsorship, which affected her ability to reach out to children across Botswana regarding her project, Holistic Development. Despite the setbacks, she persevered and continued to work towards her goal.

The young queen's message to her peers is clear: 'Believe in yourself and keep trying. You don't have to choose one talent; you can do it all if your parents or guardians agree'. Her advice to parents is equally inspiring: 'Invest in your children and allow them the balance they need to achieve more'.

Gaonyafelwe Phuti, the pageantry director, praised Ofentse's achievement, saying, 'I am incredibly proud of her. She has represented Botswana with grace, strength, and excellence. This title is not just a win for her, but for the entire nation'.

The pageantry experience has not only boosted Ofentse's confidence but also equipped her with essential skills, including public speaking, leadership, and time management attributes. She is now looking forward to empowering other children across Africa through her project.

As Ofentse embarks on her journey as Little Miss Africa 2026, she is grateful for the support she has received from her family, mentors, and sponsors. 'I thank my parents and sisters for believing in me and supporting me throughout my pageantry journey,' she said.

Her win is a reminder that with hard work, determination, and a strong support system, anything is possible. Her story is an inspiration to young girls and women across Botswana and Africa, and her legacy is sure to live on for generations to come. Botswana sent nine young, talented queens, each of whom left their footprints in the sand in Kenya. They all did exceptionally well at the pageantry.
