Coach Morena Ramoreboli's charge will face off against Zimbabwe in the second semi-final at 5pm, whilst Malawi and Zambia will get the ball rolling in the first semi-final at 3pm.
Ramoreboli said the aim is to give players international exposure, adding that to achieve this goal, the team needed at least two games during the FIFA international games.
Additionally, he said the two matches are crucial since they are taking on nations ranked higher in the FIFA rankings.
“The three countries have been doing well in football. Obviously, the experience that you're going to gain is going to be very vital for us, more so that we are bringing a lot of young players into this tournament,” he said.
The coach added that the team has prepared well for the tournament, with four sessions held up to Thursday, as they prepare for the semi-final encounter against a Zimbabwe side that has mixed youth and experience.
He stated that they played a friendly game on Wednesday, which helped them to prepare the players for the biggest stage.
“I believe that we have done enough in terms of our preparation, and even the boys know the importance of doing well in this tournament,” Ramoreboli said.
“Therefore, I believe that we are going to do well and compete to the best of our ability.”
He said there is a need to have players with the right profile, which includes a proper work rate and intelligence.
“The young boys are doing well, honestly, at training, so we just needed to give them the support,’ the coach concluded.
On Tuesday, losing semi-finalists will play in a third-place play-off while the victors proceed to the final.
