Following the screening, Chef Maetz shared his own culinary journey, emphasising the importance of passion and perseverance in the kitchen.
'Cooking is about emotion and feelings. The best food is often the one you had when you were a kid, cooking with your mom,' he said, echoing Yazid's sentiments.
The audience was captivated by Chef Maetz's insights into the world of French cuisine, and his collaboration with the Gaborone College of Culinary Arts students added a special touch to the evening.
