VACANCY: LEGAL OFFICER

The Law Society of Botswana invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Legal Officer based in Gaborone.

The Legal Officer will support the Executive Secretary in the discharge of the Society’s statutory and regulatory mandate. Responsibilities include participation in disciplinary and professional conduct processes, legal advisory support, interpretation of regulatory frameworks governing the legal profession, and contributing to AML/CFT compliance initiatives within the profession.

Minimum Requirements

• LLB degree from a recognised institution

• Admission as a legal practitioner in Botswana

• Minimum five (5) years post admission legal experience
