Chobe River Lodge Kasane

Specialist Lodge Manager for a boutique 4 star lodge in Kasane, catering to a refined high net worth target audience. The candidate is required to have extensive knowledge as a Maitre d’hotel, fine dining and general management. The ideal candidate should have food & beverage experience at Management level, as well have excellent award winning front of house management experience. Preferably a minimum of 4 years General Lodge Management.

Summary of requirements:

•

Minimum of 10 years’ experience preparing food and training kitchen staff

•

Have extensive knowledge to cater and interact with higher net worth individuals

•

Have extensive experience and a diploma Sommelier, professional chefing and/or Maitre d’hotel.

•

Must have extensive experience with hospitality computer systems.

•

Must have a strong penchant for Administration in particular record keeping, stock taking, food costing and menu planning, taking into account seasonal produce.

•

Must have a valid driver’s license.

•

Must have knowledge of international hygiene standards.

•

High School Diploma

•

Work experience and knowledge of Botswana

•

Diploma or similar in Professional chef
