SENIOR ENGINEER: PROJECT MANAGEMENT

This position would be of interest to Senior Engineers with a minimum of fifteen (15) years’

experience in the design, supervision, construction and contract management of major

structural engineering projects.

The incumbent should be degree qualified; a registered professional engineer with ERB and

capable of working with teams of technical specialists in challenging environments. Professional

registration with other regional or international bodies will be an added advantage.

Reporting to the Division Head or Project Leader, the successful candidate will interpret

drawings, manage structural and civil works construction quality issues and liaise with the

Head Office Civil and Structural design team. We require a hands-on team-player with strong

leadership skills who is able to confidently and appropriately assert him/herself, make prudent

decisions and effectively solve problems.

The incumbent will be based on sites throughout Botswana, the successful candidate will be

responsible for liaison and coordination with the client, contractors, sub-contractors and all

consulting disciplines engaged in the Works.

This position requires a hands-on Professionals with strong leadership skills who is able to

confidently and appropriately assert himself/herself, make prudent decisions and effectively

solve problems. The candidate will be expected to manage & supervise staff, resolve conflict,

deliver to deadlines; and maintain quality and ISO standards and procedures. This role will

involve some regional travel.
