The loss extends the team's scoreless streak to a number of games and being number two at the bottom of the league sparks concerns about their clinical finishing.

Coach Joseph ‘Chippa’ Mokgacha expressed disappointment with the result, admitting that his team had let themselves down in vulnerable spaces.

'We thought we had done our assignment, especially on how we were going to approach this game,' he said.

The gaffer said that the 1-0 loss is a very bad result for them more especially that they were playing home.

He stated that the games are coming and they are not getting the results that they are supposed to be getting.

“It's tough. We still have to go to the drawing board and see how we can manage to score,” he continued.

Mokgacha indicated that in the second half, they made tactical adjustments, especially correcting what was happening in the midfield.

“Our opponents had a numerical advantage in the midfield; they had numbers in the midfield, but we needed to neutralise that,” he added.

Speaking about addressing the team's weaknesses, Mokgacha said that they do so every day at the training ground and every opportunity they get, even in their dressing room.

“Now it is time for problem-solving. Believe me, we are trying to find where the problem is. How are we not scoring, and why are we not scoring? And what is it that we need to be doing in terms of scoring?” he said.

He said that, in terms of keeping the players' morale up, the players know what is at stake and what they need to be doing with regard to staying in the Premier League.

'It is a motivation of its own to be in the Premier League because, at the same time, they are marketing themselves, and no one wants to be going down to play in the First Division. We still have more games to play.

'Maybe we can salvage something. Teams that are also relegation-threatened actually, none of the teams have gained three points. So it shows that it is very, very tough. But we also must be getting three points,” he said.

Orapa United's coach, Elias Chiyemba, was on the other hand pleased with his team's performance, despite failing to capitalize on numerous chances.

'I am still worried by the number of chances we are failing to convert. This is a game where we could have won by at least three or four goals,” he said.

Chiyemba indicated that their idea is to sneak into fourth bracket and see what happens at the end of the season. He stated that currently, they have 27 points to play for, and there is still a lot of football to be played.
