Our client, a safari lodge in Botswana’s Ngoma region, is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee kitchen operations and ensure food quality and consistency.
Plan and develop menus that align with customer preferences and trends.
Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
Control costs by managing budgets, food inventory, and minimizing waste.
Ensure hygiene and safety compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
Collaborate with management and front-of-house teams for smooth service.
Stay updated with culinary trends and drive innovation in the kitchen.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role in 4* lodges.
Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Proven leadership in training and developing kitchen teams
Passion for fresh, seasonal and sustainable produce
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems under pressure.
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
