Business Development Manager

Requirements:

Min 12 years sales, marketing, and reservations experience

Min 3-year tertiary Travel & Tourism qualification

Experience in the concepts, building and principals contained in tour planning and reservations software.

Experience in the development of customized computer software

Previous product development experience in Southern Africa

Vast product knowledge of the safari camp market in Botswana

Experience in identifying new source market suppliers, ability to negotiate rates and set up business agreements.

Experience in designing and costing packages at all levels in the supply chain.

Senior management experience and in managing teams in the marketing, sales and reservation roles.

Ability to work with marketing, sales, and reservations teams at all levels.

Excellent communication skills

High standard of honesty with an internal source of motivation and self management

Excellent planning and organizational skills

Ability to train and mentor teams in the sales,marketing, and reservations roles.
