The event was a masterclass in self-love, empowerment, and, of course, glamour. Attendees arrived looking stunning in shades of white and yellow, setting the tone for a day of positivity and inspiration.

DJ Frostbite kept the energy high with soulful RnB hits, while Lizibo delivered an unforgettable performance, singing songs such as 'Mosadi o ntshiwa di out eseng dikeledi' and 'O tla mmona ko kae yo tla go ratang jaaka nna'.

The attendants were on their feet, dancing and singing along to the infectious beats.

Coach David Grace's speech was the highlight of the event, emphasising the importance of self-empowerment and individuality.

'You do not need permission to be yourself,' he said. 'Know yourself, and do not let others define your path.'

His words resonated deeply with the audience, many of whom were taking notes and nodding in agreement.

Meanwhile, Molefe, a beauty professional with 11 years of experience, shared valuable tips on nails and skin care, emphasizing the importance of self-care and inner beauty.

'Beauty is not just about appearance, but about how a woman feels, shows up, and navigates life,' she said. Her approach to beauty consulting is practical, honest, and empowering.

'I focus on enhancing what already exists and teaching women how to use beauty as a tool, not a mask,' she explained.

The event's focus on empowerment resonated deeply with attendees.

'I love how Molefe emphasised the importance of knowing yourself and not seeking validation from others,' said one attendee.

'It is a message we all need to hear.' Another shared, 'I felt inspired to take control of my own beauty routine and prioritise self-care.'

During breaks, lucky attendees were treated to gifts, including vanity mirrors, hair products, dental care vouchers, and more. But the real takeaway was the sense of confidence and self-worth that lingered long after the music stopped.

The Beauty Reset Brunch is more than just an event but a movement. With future editions planned, it is clear that Gaborone's beauty community is ready to shine.

As Molefe so eloquently put it, 'Raise up and be radiant this year' – and with events like this, it is clear that Gaborone's beauty community is ready to shine.

Molefe's tips on skin care and nails were particularly insightful, emphasizing the importance of understanding one's own skin and nail health.

'Consistency and informed choices are key,' she said. Her advice on how to prioritise self-care was also well-received, with attendees taking notes on how to incorporate self-care into their daily routines.

However, there are many more speakers who gave life and beauty tips that could change attendees' lives. Most of the tips were eye-opening.

Overall, The New Year's Beauty Reset Brunch was a resounding success, leaving attendees feeling empowered, inspired, and ready to take on the new year.
