Born and raised in Mbalambi village in the North East District, Duta's journey is nothing short of remarkable.

'I wrote this book to express gratitude to God and to inspire young people who may be facing hopeless situations, and encourage them to choose faith and resilience over destructive coping mechanisms,' Duta shares.

Duta's story begins with a childhood marked by challenges and academic success, followed by a devastating mental breakdown during medical school. With unwavering faith in God and support from loved ones, he persevered and graduated as a medical doctor.

'The central theme of the book is that Almighty God has power beyond human understanding. It emphasises that healing and restoration are possible even in the darkest and most hopeless circumstances,' Duta explains.

His writing process was a labor of love, taking roughly two months to complete amidst his busy medical schedule. He writes during his spare time, often late at night or on weekends.

'Some chapters were difficult to write because they required me to relive painful memories. When this happens, I take a break to reflect and calm my emotions,' he says.

Duta's message of hope and resilience resonates with readers, and he's passionate about sharing his story with young people.

'My next project involves motivating students across schools in Botswana by sharing my story and encouraging resilience, hard work, and faith,' he reveals.

Duta is a Christian author, medical doctor, and founder of The Duttician Academy. He's passionate about inspirational writing and motivation, believing in uplifting young people and those in need.
