Tshwane bikers donate to Marina’s paediatric ward, Elderly Shelter

The visit was deeply emotional for admitted children children who could not hold back their tears of joy.
Speaking at the handover ceremony Biker, Tshepo Thedi said that the gesture from the bikers was an expression of genuine love and compassion. 'For a moment we want to replace pain and fear that fill these hospital with smiles, laughter, and hope,' Thedi said.
She further said: “These visits highlight the importance of going beyond donations physically visiting hospitals and homes matters. Presence restores dignity, affirms humanity, and reminds vulnerable groups that they are not forgotten. Such engagements contribute not only to emotional healing but also to social cohesion and community solidarity.'
The bikers also extended their outreach to Matsheka Elderly Shelter, where food hampers were donated to elderly women. Some of the elders could not hide emotions as they were touched by the fact that they were remembered, visited, and shown dignity and care by strangers.
“This reflects compassion, ubuntu, and the power of community involvement in healing both emotional and social wounds,” she added.
