One of the event organisers, Easy B, said the once-popular show will take place at the Railway Stadium in Mahalapye on December 24.

The concert promises to be a jam-packed schedule featuring international artists, especially from South Africa, such as Kabza De Small, Young Stunna, Nkosazana Daughter, DJ Fresh and a few others. Easy B said this year's festival is much bigger and better, and will also feature performances by top local talents such as Vee Mampeezy, Charma Gal, Han-C, Chokoma, Culture Spears and Ezra Neethings.

“This Home Coming Concert is about celebrating our roots with unforgettable vibes. It also promises a high-energy set for each artist and family-friendly activities. Logistics will be laid out clearly with gates opening at around 12 noon till morning,” said one of the organisers, Thapelo Setiko.

Setiko announced that this year's event is powered by Botswana Telecommunications Corporation to the tune of P270 000. This, he said, will help to facilitate preparation for the concert.

Acting head of Fintech, Kitso Motswagae, stated that their partnership with Home Coming Concert is also meant to promote their online Smega service, which allows users to buy tickets at lower and favourable prices. Organisers stressed the inclusion of vendors to do business at the event through the right and agreed procedures. To ensure the safety of their patrons, Home Coming Concert says they have also partnered with Pro-Guard Security. Meanwhile, Orbert Pelotshweu from Pro-Guard Security Systems stated that they will maintain order and ensure the attendees' security as well as their properties. He stressed that they will work together with the attendees without violating them at the entry through their bouncers and security officers. He stressed that there will be security guards at every corner and security cameras to ensure absolute safety for everyone. Pelotshweu also urged the public to cooperate with them to ensure their own security and to make sure their cars are locked, and to leave all valuable properties at home to reduce theft or any loss at the event. Homecoming Concert is proof that Botswana's music scene continues to thrive as the event sets out to deliver hits and memories. Standard tickets priced for the event are P200. They can be accessed through online platforms such as Facebook, Botswana Telecommunications Corporation webtickets, Spar and Choppies outlets.
