The event promises to be an exciting celebration of music, sports, and community spirit, with a lineup of local, South African DJs and legendary football stars.

'We are thrilled to bring this event to our community,' said Malebogo Modise, marketing personnel for Ikageng Barolong Society. 'Despite facing funding challenges, we are determined to make this event a success and give back to our community. We were lucky enough to get SA football legends to participate in the tournament, not because we could afford their appearance fees, but because they share our vision of giving back to the community,' said Modise.

The festival will feature a star-studded lineup of DJs, including DJ Mgedeza, DJ Da Mzi, DJ So Sthaba, DJ Rique, and DJ Hank, while Boyz & Drums will also take to the stage. MC Orah will keep the crowd entertained as Master of Ceremonies.

The soccer tournament will feature local football clubs, as well as SA legends Thabang 'Skappie' Malatji and Pollen 'Trompies' Ndlanya. The winning team will take home a grand prize, medals, and a branded trophy.

'We are excited to see the impact this event will have on our community,' said Joseph Molelowatladi, chairperson of Ikageng Barolong Society. 'We have been working tirelessly to address issues such as poverty and lack of recreational activities in our community. This event is a testament to our commitment to giving back and empowering our youth,' said Molelowatladi.

Ramatlabama Kgosi Johane Leshomo praised the society's efforts, saying, 'The roadmap of the society is very clear. They have done well in boosting the village's economy and impacting the lives of our communities. They are giving us hope.'

The event is open to the public, with stalls available for P300 for either the soccer tournament or music festival, and P500 for both events. Accommodation options are also available, with local lodges and tent accommodations offered by local youths.

'We are also planning a surprise act, so attendees should stay tuned for more information,' added Modise.

Ikageng Barolong Society has already made a significant impact in the community, building houses for families in need and providing educational support to local schools. This event is a testament to their continued commitment to giving back and empowering the community.

The society's efforts were summarised by Kgosi Leshomo, who said, 'They have positively impacted the lives of our communities. They are giving us hope.'
