In under a month, All Kasi will again be right in the eyes and faces of millions of television viewers across Africa as the local clothing brand takes its rightful place amongst the official 24 kit suppliers at the Africa Cup of Nations finals.
The honour of dressing the Zebras at the only two AFCON finals appearances has fallen on the lap of All Kasi, a trailblazer that has opened doors for other local brands to enter the sport arena.
In 2012, the Zebras were the only side that had a kit wholly supplied by a local manufacturer, a proud moment that still stands tall today.
The home kit worn by the Class of 2012 remains one of the most iconic pieces of national team clothing pride and evokes treasured memories.
In between the Zebras' maiden appearance at the AFCON finals, the team has had other kit suppliers, notably British brand, Umbro. However, the relationship with technical sponsors has not always ended well, with the BFA feeling it is not getting value for money.
In January, just months after Tariq Babitseng took over as the BFA president, he expressed misgivings about their partnership with All Kasi.
BFA then moved to terminate the contract with Botswana's premier indigenous apparel brand, citing breaches from the supplier. In response, All Kasi responded by taking the matter to court, prepared to fight to the bitter end in an effort to stop the BFA from terminating the contract.
However, candid, sit-down talks ensured there was a 'fairy-tale', 'happily ever after' ending.
On Tuesday, the often combustible but enduring connection entered a new phase as All Kasi unveiled the Zebras' stripes for the AFCON finals, which kick off at the 68,000-seater Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat on December 21.
For almost a month, the eyes of Africa and the general football world will be fixed on Morocco, where the Zebras are part of the cast.
On display over at least three group phase matches will be All Kasi jerseys, which were unveiled at a ceremony to announce the team at the Cresta Lodge on Monday.
All Kasi director, Ludo Kemoen, said the kit designs were influenced by the national animal, the zebra, and the country's most precious commodity, the diamonds.
'We had wanted to remix the 2012 kit, but then we thought, let us just introduce a new kit,' he explained.
Kemoen said his company is proud to be associated with the Zebras, particularly at the highest level of football representation within the continent.
'When we came on board, it was at a time when we felt BFA was being disrespected. We said to ourselves, we cannot fail to make just 11 shirts, 11 shorts and 11 pairs of shorts.
'We then approached BFA, and the rest, as they say, is history. But we are proud and humbled to be associated with the BFA,' he added.
Babitseng, meanwhile, said they sat down to iron out their differences with All Kasi.
'It is a brand that we are very proud to be associated with as Botswana Football Association,' Babitseng said.
'We sat down with All Kasi, and we will be having a meaningful partnership that drives value,' he added.
The BFA-All Kasi relationship, despite the numerous trials and tribulations, is an affirmation of a tried and tested bond that has stood the test of time since 2008.
