Police nab alleged international job-seekers fraud kingpin

The man, Evans Sivechere has since appeared for arraignment and is scheduled to return to court December 1st at the Village Magistrates court.
The scheme which the Police say more victims continue to report, involves fraudulent job placements in several countries including Ireland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Republic of Luxemburg, Republic of Finland, Republic of and Greece.
According to a press statement from the police, the man swindled about 11 unsuspecting victims of a cumulative amount exceeding P240, 000.
According to his charge sheet, over the past year, since last year October the accused through his company, Diamond Migration (Pty) Ltd swindled money from the victims pretending to be finding jobs and work permit for them.
According to the police more victims are coming forth and expect addition charges from the original 11 counts of fraud.
