'GU are naive, vulnerable without the ball'

The two sides played an entertaining FNB Premiership match before a capacity crowd at the GU Stadium Friday evening.
Moloi was happy with the overall performance of the team, adding that it was a highly tactical match with fewer chances in between for either side to gain maximum points.
His side are six points behind the log leaders, GU, having played one game more.
“It was a very difficult game to be honest, highly tactical game with little goal mouth action.
“However, it was entertaining on the eye. I am happy with my team’s performance and take this point today,' the gaffer said in a post match interview.
The former GU coach said he worked on a plan to stop Moyagoleele, who had won five games in a row coming into this match.
“GU is a possession based side; they play so well on the ball. We just allowed them the ball in the furthest areas of the pitch but when they get to our second line then we put pressure and win the ball,” he added.
Moloi continued; “We worked on it with the boys and I told them that GU is very naive and vulnerable without the ball. They are not a ball winning team and we caused them problems with the ball. We could come from our box to their box, but we couldn’t make the right decisions in the last moment. But it was a very entertaining game today.”
Moloi remains unbeaten against his former side, after winning the first match between the two sides following his sensational switch towards the end of last season.
GU interim coach, Khalid Niyonzima, said he feels Chiefs escaped because his team played well but could not bury the chances.
“We dominated the game, and the boys did what they were supposed to do. The strategy from training worked well but we lacked the killer instinct to finish off the chances we had, Decision making was key in many instances,” said Niyonzima.
“I think we had about 60% ball possession, Chiefs only troubled us with crosses but otherwise we could have won the game.”
