BPF settle for Ookeditse as President as Reatile steps aside

Speaking at a press conference this morning, former party president Mephato Reatile said he concurs with the decision and believes it was done in the best interest of the organisation. He said he is stepping aside from leadership and pave way for Ookeditse.
'I reflected in the past few weeks, I could have gone to go court and won but in the best interest of the organisation I decided to step aside let others lead and take this organisation to greater heights and protect members. And also I want to clarify that I have never been offered any ambassadorship role, it's all untrue. I have suffered so it is also time to choose myself,' Reatile said.
All suspension and expulsions are set aside and rescinded as we are moving on with unity to rebuild peace. The two faction also agreed and announced that the NEC will include two additional members including Mogomotsi Kaboeyamodimo.
' We had approached to Kago Mokotedi (lawyer) for representation and he suggested that we (the two factions) instead have a conversation, and I am happy to say that the discussions have been fruitful. Some on my side think I am weak and don't want to fight. But when you lead sometimes you have to take discomfort and pain,' Ookeditse said.
