'Marope a Puo' is Moroka's second book, and it targets everyone interested in learning the Setswana language and culture. The book has 214 pages, and it covers various topics, including Setswana culture, animals, heritage, and more. Moroka explained that he was inspired to write the book because people have been encouraging him to do so, given his experience of teaching Setswana on radio platforms.

'I decided to write and address the needs that I see because I volunteer a lot in schools,' Moroka said. 'I have realised a number of challenges the children face at school when it comes to the Setswana language.'

Moroka's book is self-published. He expressed his gratitude to those who edited and reviewed the book, saying they were amazed by its content. However, he noted that publishing the book was expensive, as he had to sponsor it from his own pocket.

The author added that researching and finding information for the book was also costly, requiring him to travel to remote rural areas to learn about Setswana culture and traditions. Despite the challenges, Moroka is proud of his work and hopes to publish many more books in the future.

The book launch promises to be an exciting affair, with several dignitaries expected to attend, including Kgosi Pelonomi Toto from Northern Cape, Kurumane in South Africa, and Kgosi Kereditse Gopane from Gopane, South Africa. Locally, Moroka has invited Kgosi Arnold Somolokae from Gaborone West, Deputy Mayor Mankie Sekete, and guest speaker Ndigo Muzila of Dawnbell Academy.

Moroka's achievement is a testament to his hard work and dedication to promoting the Setswana language and culture. His book, 'Marope a Puo' is a valuable resource for anyone interested in learning more about Setswana culture and traditions.

Moroka holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health and has won several awards, including Best in Promoting Culture and Heritage in 2017 and the Special Minister's Award in 2023. His book launch is an event not to be missed, and attendees can expect an enjoyable morning of literature, culture, and good company.
