Kiddies Festival goes to Cabin Gardens in Ghanzi

The event aims to bring together families and friends in a fun and relaxed environment, promoting bonding and creating lasting memories. In an interview with Arts&Culture, the founder of Uncle Dipopae Entertainment, Michael Sekaba, said the event is designed to cater to all ages, with a residential DJ playing kid-friendly music and a range of fun activities to keep everyone entertained. He added that toddlers will enjoy free entrance, while children aged between four and 18 years will pay a nominal fee of P50.

He said local vendors would be selling a variety of goods, including clothing and other items, at the event. He added that stalls are available for rent for P500 while clothing stalls are free.

'You can bring your own food and drinks, including cooler boxes with adult beverages, which will be stored in a separate area away from the kids,' he said.

The organisers have taken steps to ensure everyone's safety, with the local police invited to provide security and ensure a smooth event.

The event is being funded by the organiser, with no sponsors. This is a passion project that aims to bring people together and create a fun and memorable experience for families.

The Family Fun Day will be an annual event, and a calendar and locations will be released each year. Tickets are available at the local filling station.
