Tonota FC now boast four wins and six draws. Head coach, Thaloba Nthaga, praised his side's performance after the game played here on Saturday.
'We need to be clinical in our play. We dominated the game, created many chances, and on a different day, we could have scored more than five goals,” he said.
He added that his team is the league because they deserve to be and need to be given the respect they deserve.
Nthaga emphasised that his team came into the game with a victory in mind and was therefore pleased with the outcome.
Eleven Angels, on the other hand, struggled to make an impact and now find themselves at the bottom of the log with just one point.
The team’s head coach, Shepard Seatlholo, described the game as fine but very tactical.
He acknowledged Tonota FC's win stating that their plan was to stop them and play from the midfield.
“We played well in the first half, but the wind became a challenge in the second half,” he continued.
Seatlholo praised his young team's performance, including a 16-year-old player, saying they will gain valuable experience with time.
He noted an improvement from their previous game and believes they will get results in the next one.
However, Seatlholo highlighted the team's struggles, including limited resources, financial constraints and the lack of a home ground.
He emphasised the need for a sponsor to access more experienced players and improve the team's performance.
