According to Barsti Phagane, Sales and Marketing Manager for Fairground Holdings, the collaboration brings together two powerful forces that will create spaces that bring people together and foster community impact.
The partnership will see Fairground Holdings host all Meat on Fire's signature events, including Chicks on Fire, Beast on Fire, and Pigs on Fire. The events are social and cultural movements that attract thousands of people from across Botswana and beyond. Through this partnership, Fairground Holdings will provide the ideal infrastructure, ample space, secure parking, digital connectivity, and a proven events management framework to ensure seamless execution.
Phagane highlighted the marketing and communication strengths of the partnership, which will amplify both brands through digital platforms, sponsorship engagement, and integrated campaigns. She also emphasised the wider impact on the community, including job creation, youth participation, local tourism, and SME development.
Gorata Gabaraane, Chief Executive Officer of Fairground Holdings, said the partnership promises to ignite new experiences, elevate hospitality standards, and bring communities together. She added that partnerships are the heartbeat of growth, allowing them to build stronger connections and craft experiences that leave lasting impressions.
Meanwhile, Kaelo Sabone, Managing Director of Ultimate Feast, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting it as a great milestone. He promised that this year's events will be much bigger, better, and exciting, with a variety of game meat, including kudu, crocodile, and bream, as well as beef, lamb, goat, and chicken. Sabone encouraged meat lovers to attend the event in large numbers and enjoy the festivities.
