The Ramotswa-based side moved to the top of the log standings after defeating Tlokweng United 3-0 on Friday night. Dinare dethroned Jwaneng Young Stars, who are now in second place after their defeat by Notwane.

With results coming in the way of Dinare, Trucha has, however, chosen to be wary of the results and emphasising that they are taking it game by game.

“Our target is to promote the team, and that is our only target, but let us go game by game because you can see that this league is unpredictable. So it is mostly game by game,” he said.

The gaffer further said the league is not only open for them but identified some of the possible teams that might deny them an automatic promotion to the FNB premiership league.

“So, as you can see, Notwane is winning, that is another team coming, and I believe Thamaga will come up because they have a good team, so it is game by game. So we ought to be really careful and push for this,” Trucha said.

Though his side registered a comfortable victory, Trucha bemoaned the missed chances but hoped that they would not live up to rue them late into the season.

“I am happy for the clean sheet, but I am not happy that we scored only three goals because we could have led by three goals by the first half, and I believe in the second half we could have found two or three more goals. But I am happy with the three points,” he said. Trucha urged his side to wake up from their slumber when they are inside the 18-yard box, explaining that next time they will come up against an opponent that will punish them if they are not clinical upfront.

“I am happy with the defensive part, but I am not happy with converting the chances, as we had a lot of chances and we should do better because we will play better opponents next time and we could be punished,” he said.

Though the tactician bemoaned the missed chances by the team, Dinare had a commanding game from the first whistle of the game. As early as 13 minutes into the game, they broke the deadlock after Clive Augusto found the back of the net to put his side in front.

Dinare did not take their foot off the pedal as eight minutes later, they doubled their lead through Emmanuel Owusu-Ansah as he took a giant leap inside the box to head it past the keeper after a well-placed cross inside the box.

Nine minutes after the half-time break, Dinare scored their final goal of the night through substitute Mpho Kgomo, placing it in the bottom corner to beat the keeper.
