The congress deliberations started on Tuesday, but the main OGA takes place on Monday.
The OGA is CAF's highest decision-making forum and is attended by the continental body's 54 member associations as they set the agenda for the next 12 months.
'The assembly reviews competitions, adopts the budget and audited accounts, considers statutory matters, and agrees on the priorities that will shape African football’s growth. Each member association has one vote, ensuring decisions reflect the will of the entire CAF family,' CAF said in a statement.
The organisation’s president, Dr Patrice Motsepe, will chair proceedings amidst a buoyant atmosphere, as under his leadership, the organisation has a clean financial bill.
'Beyond the plenary itself, a full programme of zonal meetings and official events turns Kinshasa into the continent’s football capital for several days,' the CAF statement further reads.
At the gathering, CAF leadership presents the annual activity report covering competitions, development programmes and key projects delivered across Africa.
Delegates will also examine and approve the audited financial statements and vote on the budget for the next financial year.
In addition, members debate and vote on proposed amendments to CAF statutes and adopt policies and resolutions that guide operations.
The associations collectively set strategic priorities for the men’s, women’s, and youth games, refereeing, governance, and commercial growth.
