Motorist in recovery after Gakuto accident

The crash was confirmed by Mogoditshane Police Station commander, Superintendent Mbiganyi Letsholathebe.
He explained that it happened around 5:10 pm when the driver, who was behind the wheel of a Toyota Corolla, lost control of the vehicle as he was about to join the Metsimotlhabe–Kopong road.
“The car veered off the road and hit a tree. The driver sustained a fractured leg and head injuries, and he is currently admitted at Bokamoso Private Hospital for medical treatment,” Letsholathebe said.
He added that the passenger, a 22-year-old woman, escaped with minor injuries and was treated and discharged the same afternoon.
Letsholathebe added that investigations into the matter are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the accident.
