The crash came after a 33-year-old combi driver lost control of his vehicle and ploughed into a truck that was parked at a bus stop. Mogoditshane Police Station commander, Superintendent Mbiganyi Letsholathebe, said the accident occurred at around 6:40am near Turn Right Mall along the Mogoditshane–Gabane road.

He explained that the combi was carrying two people, the driver and his 31-year-old male passenger, at the time of the crash.

“The passenger sustained a fractured leg whilst the driver suffered head injuries and complained of body pains,” Letsholathebe explained.

Both men were rushed to Bokamoso Private Hospital where they are currently receiving medical treatment and are reportedly in a stable condition.

He added that investigations into the exact cause of the accident are ongoing.
