Man found dead, decomposed in Gaborone West

No. 13 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Mmoloke Sebako, said the deceased was last seen on Friday morning after his routine exercise training.
According to Sebako, the deceased’s girlfriend reported the matter to the police after she failed to reach him on the phone throughout Friday and Saturday.
“On Sunday, out of concern, she went to check on him at his place. Upon arrival, she was met with a bad smell and flies coming from the house. She immediately alerted the police, who, upon arrival, forcefully opened the door and found him lying motionless on the bed, still dressed in gym clothes, and in a decomposed state,” he said.
Sebako added that the man was rushed to Julia Molefe Clinic in Block 9, where doctors certified him dead on arrival. He stated that investigations are ongoing to establish the cause of death, as the deceased had no visible body injuries.
