No.13 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Mmoloke Sebako, confirmed the incident, stating that the woman was brought in by a Motswana man who introduced himself as her employer. He allegedly told nurses that the deceased worked for him as a house helper.

“Whilst nurses were still attending to her, the man excused himself, saying he was going to his car to fetch something, but never returned,” Sebako said.

He added that nurses had no further details about the deceased or her employer, making it difficult for the police to trace her family.

Police have since appealed to the man, or anyone with information about the woman, to come forward and assist with details that could help in locating her relatives and properly informing them about her death.
