The event, which is themed Scar vs. Zeus, promises an unforgettable evening of lyrical mastery and stage dominance from the two musicians. Scar said in an interview that although the gig is billed as a face off, it is not entirely their goal but to evoke spirit of collaboration amongst artists especially local ones. “The message that we hope is showed out is that collaboration will always get us further than one person can and it's very important for us to collaborate, use our powers to get to the next level,” said Scar, who is co-organising the event. “And we are just happy to use this as an opportunity.”

With events of this nature associated with ‘beefs’ in the music scene, Scar highlighted that there is literally no bad blood between him and Zeus though their relationship is not that of best friends. “My relationship with Zeus is a very complicated one but brotherhood at the end of the day and most importantly it's collaborative. It's a rivalry that people like to see unfold, people will pick sides when it comes to me and him,” he added. As two of the greatest rappers in the country, Scar said he hopes that his face-off with Zeus will only augment the music industry in a positive way.

“We hope this event influences the growth of the music scene so that the productions that we want to put together go forward. Hire more Batswana to play music for us on stage. There is a lot of talent in the country,” Scar said. In terms of the performance, Scar said the revellers will be in for a treat as they will be treated to acoustic sounds. “We are gonna be using live performance and we will be performing on the same stage with two different bands. That's how interesting it is going to be,” he raved. The event is set to kick start at 1900hrs and tickets are selling for P250 single and P400 double.
