Police suspect foul play in man found with head wound

No.13 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Obusitswe Lokae, said the man's lifeless body was discovered by a passerby around 5am along a street in the village, who then alerted the police.
Police rushed the man to the hospital, but he was certified dead on arrival.
'We strongly suspect that the man was killed elsewhere and dumped at the scene,' he said.
'There were tyre marks next to where he was found, which suggests that a vehicle may have been used to transport and dump the body there.'
Police suspect the deceased was struck with a hard object, inflicting a fatal head wound.
As of now, the identity of the man remains unknown as he had no identification on him at the time he was discovered.
“We are appealing to members of the public who might have witnessed the incident or have any information that could assist in identifying the suspect or suspects to come forward,” Lokae said.
He added that investigations are ongoing, and the police are determined to bring those responsible to justice.
Lokae further stated anyone with a missing family member should contact Mogoditshane Police Station.
