Winter Soiree 2.0 delivers elegance, endless fun

Celebrating winter beauty, fashion, food and entertainment, the annual showpiece has proven to be one of the most fashionable and chilled lifestyle events in the country.

Following the outstanding success of its inaugural edition, Bambi-Elle Creations, in partnership with Avani Gaborone Resort & Casino, hosted the event.

At this year’s event, fashionistas got the privilege of witnessing some beautiful fashion garments from different local clothing lines whilst also exploring local cosmetics, crafted jewellery and make up.

The signature lifestyle and fashion edition was hosted at Avani on Saturday under the theme; “Embrace the Magic of All Things Winter”.

Guests were expected to dress in their finest winter chic and gentleman style, think luxe coats, plush furs, striking pearls, and bold elegance for a day dedicated to celebrating style, beauty, and the enchanting allure of the season.

As usual, the Winter Soiree patrons did not disappoint with both the ladies and gentlemen dressed for the occasion whilst the day's DJs also did not disappoint.

The women looked stunning in their fur coats, pearl necklaces, earrings and outfits as general. Just like last year, many preferred to dress in earth coloured clothes. They wore the shades of green, brown and some black and white coloured outfits.

During the fashion show, LZ- Letoi Zayin clothing line that is still new in the industry showcased their brand products.

The owners explained that the clothing line was a family fashion line. They also said they dress Motswana woman and men as well.

Their line displayed a few outfits such as a green suade dress to complement the winter season. They also played around the leather, catering for the young making a beautiful dress. Their brand also specialises in formal sportswear.

Neo Beauty, a local cosmetic brand that currently makes lipsticks for women with sensitive lips, also displayed her products allowing those interested to test the products.

The lipstick felt light on the lips and unlike others, Neo Beauty did not make the lips feel dry. Their liquid matte lipstick has different beautiful colours.

Revellers also experienced live makeup demonstrations, skincare insights, exclusive product giveaways, and fabulous beauty prizes courtesy of Dr Gure and others

The youthful and one of the powerful fashion house in Botswana, Glutto showcased their winter collection which included brown velvet dresses and others. They also showcased earth coloured winter outfits for men.

Furthermore, participants were also captivated by a show-stopping fashion parade spotlighting winter collections from Berry Heart Creations and Shangu. Patrons were treated to delicious pasta dishes and the delicious pumpkin soup that was eaten with bread.

The day could have not been complete without good music. The soulful music and performances by local talents, including Kearoma Rantao, DJ Frostbite and DJ Lebgee made the day complete.
