In an interview with Showtime, Dr Ramasu said the book will be launched on October 10 this year, but it is already circulating around the country. He said it targets people of all age groups even though it is fundamentally for primary schools going pupils. He also stated that Tsosoloso Ya Mainane was published by Bagaka Ba Pele Publishers in April this year. The book contains 71 pages and 11 chapters.

'Tsosoloso Ya Mainane seeks to revive the lost and forgotten culture of story telling beside fire in the evenings. We have now adopted folk tales from Western countries. It is a Setswana book targeting all ages.I am now working on the French and English versions to cater for expatriates. The book has been received with accolades. I even got a call from South African radio stations, Mmabatho and Motsweding FM. A sizeable number of books were bought after I announced on Facebook,' he said.

Moreover, Ramasu explained that writing is a challenging task. He said sometimes as authors they experience a writers block. He added that printing of books in Botswana is also very expensive. The book seeks to entertain kids, guides them as well as reviving and conserving culture. 'I have written four books so far and I am pushing to produce more. I am inspired by people like Patience Molapisi, Thalefang Charles, Ndiko Muzila as well as foreigners like Danielle Steel,' he said.

Ramasu revealed he started writing at a younger age. He said he is a book lover and an avid reader. His other books include Marakanamantsi a Botshelo (2017), Corona E Nthubetse Lwapa (2021), The Portrait of Serowe (2022) and Tsosoloso Ya Mainane (2025).

'A lot of people read my books. Recently I was given an award in Best in Indigenous Language and Best Literature Promoter by Mulher Forte African Literature which is run by Dr Paula Otukile. I was honoured with other African authors from Zambia, Kenya, Angola and South Africa. These award gave me recognition outside the country. South Africa recognises my literary works,' he said.

Additionally, he said he is working on televising his work. He said he is currently working on animating Tsosoloso Ya Mainane. Ramasu added that he plans on doing audio books and also selling on platforms like Amazon.

He pointed out that Bagaka Ba Pele is an initiative that started off as a TV show and a blog that seeks to reminisce on lost memories, heritage, culture as well as legends of sports, literature and music. He added that they now run art exhibitions, pageant, elderly service days, golf day and book publishing under that banner. He also said they are just about to open office at the CBD. 'We have fans in Swaziland, Namibia, Montreal, Zimbabwe,Lesotho and South Africa. We are always supported by our followers financially from Montreal and South Africa. Most of the time we support ourselves with our money,' he said.
