Speaking to journalists after the final, Bothasitse has revealed that the club will be going through a wholesome of changes that is to affect the club’s budget, playing and also possibly the technical team personnel. “That one (a question on his future) I can only answer if I know my future because the moment the team relegates, as the leaders surely the guns are pointing at you, so up until such time we meet with the executive members and discuss few things,” said Bothasitse. He added that if he is to stay with the team, he would advise about beefing up the playing staff as he highlighted that the team was campaigning with a thin squad and that has led to their demise.
“There are things we need to look into more especially the playing personnel because this past season we were caught wanting. When we have someone like Floh (Kenanao Kgetholetsile, 42) playing 27 games what does that mean? So it was a situation where we knew what we were dealing with and the executive had given me a go-ahead that this is what we are going to (work) with. We were already punching above our weight in terms of the budget and we do not want a situation where we would be dragged to court over unpaid player salaries,” said Bothasitse.
