The patrons came in dressed for the occasion as it is a norm. Both men and women looked smashing in their vintage outfits. The event was filled with a lot of colour with diverse fashionable outfits for the women, as some opted for the colourful leggings, pantyhose, yet others opted for the hot pants with leggings, the vintage skirts and dresses complimented with figure belts. Vintage outfits can never be complete without sparkling ones and that is what some women went for. On their heads, some wore the Afro wigs while others preferred barrets and bandanas.
For their part, the men wore vintage trousers with shirts or golf t-shirts, sailor's cap, bucket hats and more. Both genders also wore different kinds of dungarees as well made from different materials including jeans. Some wore pantsula attires. Even though there were no live artists performances, the night was a memorable one as the DJs played different classic music of different genres. The music differed from Classic House by DJ Ceedea who kick-started the event, classic disco that seemed to be the patrons most favourite played by DJ Strongtivity, the American Funky by DJ Kells and Oldies But Goodies by Bats Natasha. Even though he was expected to play classic RnB and Hip Hop classics, O'Neal Africa decided to mesmerise the audience with beautiful beats from different music genres. He played beats from disco, the late Brenda Fassie, Yvonne Chaka Chaka's old songs like Thank You Mr DJ, funk, Afro Pop and many more beats.
The audiences surely enjoyed themselves. They occasionally visited the dance floor dancing to their favourite tunes. As promised, this time around the organisers did fulfill their promise of reserving some seats at the venue so that the revellers could rest their feet whilst enjoying the music. The seats might have not been enough for evening but a number of patrons managed to rest their feet. The lighting was also breath taking as it reflected the old disco outings. The stage and dance floor were placed right in the middle of the venue and the sound was perfect.
