Speaking at an exclusive DOVE Experience event, hosted in collaboration with CA Sales Distribution, Fours cash and carry and Lengau Liquor Distribution Company at Altitude Deck in Gaborone on Saturday, Thomas whose project is Beauty With A Purpose told the audience that they must appreciate the person's they see when looking at themselves through the mirrors. She stated that every person is beautiful in their own way adding that no one must look down upon themselves because they feel that their friends, loved ones or people next to them look much prettier than them. She continued saying beauty did not only reflect physical features but also someone's inner self. 'To any woman living with vitiligo, any kind of scars we want you to feel and know that you are beautiful just the way you are. We encourage authenticity. Our beauty comes from authenticity and confidence. Dove I thank you. For the first time I believe my vision is achievable because there is an establishment that believes in me and understand my mission,' she said. For his part, Dove representative Daniel Hink said Dove slogan, 'Let's Change Beauty' challenged the traditional beauty standards and championed a positive self image. He added that Dove was a personal brand that created a portfolio that went beyond just products but forstering a community that values diversity and sustainability.

He also said Dove beans aligns with societal shifts towards inclusivity and empowerment. Furthermore, Dove Brand Expect Lola Boitumelo said their products resonated with making people feel good. She added that they had a wide range of products the number one been the Dove soap that people use in different ways for different reasons as it is famed with its ability of nourishing and moisturising the skin. She added that they had beauty products for both men and women. Boitumelo also said they had introduced a new product which is the Dove body cream to Botswana which is currently sold at Fours Cash and Carry and will soon be available at other retailers. The event gave attendees a memorable experience combined with premium pampering, luxury Bottega refreshments that the ladies and gentlemen who take alcohol enjoyed so much. Most of the revellers did wear for the occasion as they adhered to the theme where they were told to wear white glam with a touch of gold and rose gold and beige. They all dressed to kill.
